Set up Lotswift in Chrome

About five minutes per computer. You'll need Google Chrome on Windows or Mac, and the access key your dealership sent you.

Lotswift for Chrome Windows and Mac · Chrome 116 or newer
Download
  1. Unzip the download into a folder you'll keep, for example Documents › Lotswift. Chrome runs Lotswift from this folder, so don't delete or move it later.
  2. Open Chrome's extensions page. Type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter, then turn on Developer mode in the top right.
  3. Click "Load unpacked" and choose the Lotswift folder from step 1.
  4. Pin it. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin Lotswift.
  5. Connect your dealership. Click the Lotswift icon, paste your access key, and click Save and connect. If Chrome asks to allow access to websites, click Allow; that's how Lotswift adds your photos.
  6. Sign in to Facebook in the same Chrome window, and you're ready.

Posting your first car

Open the Lotswift panel, pick a car under To post and click Fill Facebook listing. Check the details, then click Publish on Marketplace yourself. Lotswift asks you to confirm, and the car moves to Posted.

Seeing a "developer mode extensions" notice when Chrome starts? That's expected while Lotswift is in its pilot. Close it and carry on. Lotswift is coming to the Chrome Web Store, which will make installs and updates automatic.

Updating

When we tell you a new version is out, download it again from this page, replace the contents of your Lotswift folder with the new files, then click the ↻ reload icon on Lotswift at chrome://extensions. Your access key and settings stay as they are.
